Privacy Policy
We collect as little as possible. Here is the plain language version of what we collect, why, how long, and how to remove it.
What data we collect
- Conversation text: for signed in users, each message and a short conversation title are stored so you can revisit your history. We store only the message text and timestamp. Not your name, email, or other identifiers inside conversations.
- Account: your email and role, only to operate your account.
- Guests: guest messages are kept only in your browser memory and are not stored in our database.
Why we use it
Conversation content is used only to display your own chat history and to generate Gaius replies. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to train models.
Sharing with third parties
To generate replies, your current message is sent to a third party AI provider (the platform LLM service) for processing. This sharing is limited to what is needed to produce a response. We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.
Retention
Signed in conversations are kept until you delete them. Guest data is cleared when you close your browser. You can delete your full history at any time.
Your rights
- Access and review your own conversations in the chat.
- Delete individual conversations or your entire history at any time.
- Use Gaius as a guest with no stored data.
